It detects the user's return even before the mouse and keyboard are moved. Therefore, the screen is always instantly ready for use and wastes no energy when the user is away. 

EcoView-Optimizer 

The EcoView Optimizer detects and takes into account the white content of the image when controlling the backlight. For dark images, light emission is reduced, which can lower power consumption by up to 30%. However, the user-defined image brightness is maintained because the EcoView Optimizer adjusts the color values accordingly. 

Eco Timer 

To save energy, EIZO uses two methods: The Eco-Timer automatically switches the screen to off mode after a user-defined period, reducing energy consumption. The power switch directly on the monitor completely shuts off energy consumption – thus also eliminating unnecessary CO₂ emissions and costs. 

Overdrive 

The switching of pixels is accelerated so dramatically by a pre-calculated overdrive that, on average, only 6 ms of switching time is required between different tonal values. Moving images in fast video sequences, games, and 3D CAD animations are displayed at unprecedented speed and without any disruptive delays.  

Precise color control 

A color temperature control allows white points to be set in 500 K increments between 4,000 and 10,000 K. Additionally, the color saturation (gain) for RGB colors can be set separately.
